  • Brown mushroom, phoenix, lime and broken chain emoji.
  • Head-shaking emoji for a vertical nod or a horizontal shake.
  • 18 people and body emoji gained an option to face the opposite direction.

How to Use iPhone Emojis

  1. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings โ†’ General โ†’ Keyboard โ†’ Keyboards โ†’ Add New Keyboard, then choose Emoji if it is not already enabled.
  2. In a text field, tap the emoji or globe button to open the emoji keyboard, then select an emoji.
  3. On this page, choose Copy for the text character, or PNG to download the pictured Apple design. Paste the character into your message or insert the image where supported.
